This show will be the jammy jam for anyone who grew up listening to the pop music of the last 10 years. Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, One Direction, Imagine Dragons, Lady Gaga…the list goes on and on. And it’s a prom, which means costumes, decorations and stage props, the whole nine yards. Need I say more? This is a great show for all skill levels and also for keyboardists as there are more than a few synthesizers in use on these songs.

This show honors the band that began it all, The Beatles. They could rock you, make you think, make you cry and make you want to hug everyone you see, sometimes all in the same song. And this time, we will take not only a cross section of the band’s incredible career, but also delve into the remarkable solo careers of each Beatle. A great show for beginners and seasoned Rock Academy students alike. Join this show to learn how to put a perfect pop song together and have some fun.
What is it that makes both comedy and music work? Good timing. This show will explore the art of musical comedy, which is generally difficult music played very well while ridiculous things are said over top of it. We will explore a few different types of comedy in this show from shock, to story-telling to simple jokes, all while sharpening your wit with games designed to loosen your tongue and decrease your response time. Join this show if you want a challenge and are ready to dig deep.
**Warning** This show is rated PG-13 and will contain some language and situations not suitable for the faint of heart.
Hands down, THE greatest rock band of all time, there was nothing Led Zeppelin couldn’t do. This show will attempt to touch on the important points of Zeppelin’s career with a few surprises thrown in. This will be a great show for all ability levels and all instruments. Join this show if you want to learn to solo on what ever instrument you play. There are tons of solos, sometimes all happening at once. It is fun if you even get it close to right and face-melting if you actually get it right. Prepare to rock in this show.
Stevie Wonder. There are so many words I could use to describe the beauty, majesty and sanctity of his music, and somehow there are no words to actually do it justice. This show will explore Stevie’s early days up through Songs in The Key Of Life. As an artist, he somehow re-invented himself constantly through this period, yet the music was always truly and deeply his. He spoke so strongly about love that even in his most joyous revelry he is capable of bringing a tear to your eye. A great show for all ability levels. Join this show if you want to work hard.
