More than a music genre, Grunge was a generational movement. The sound was loud, raw and uncompromising. Many of the lyrics fought for social justice and challenged traditional cis tropes. What started in the underground clubs of the Pacific Northwest soon seeped into every corner of 90s American music. This show won’t have many keyboards but is good for all skill levels.

Always topical, always changing, Radiohead are one of the most influential bands from the 90’s and beyond. Using complex musical themes, unusual progressions, experimental sounds and lyrics ranging from dystopian to macabre, Radiohead prove that rock and roll will never die, however much it may change. Sam Cooke had one of the most memorable voices ever put on record. He is known as the “King of Soul” for a reason, and his influence on soul music and the civil rights movement is still felt today. Smokey Robinson is not only a world class singer, but also one of Motown’s greatest songwriters. This show is chock full of hit songs and ear worms including Motown’s first million selling single, Shop Around. A great show for all skill levels.

ABBA is the pride of Scandinavia. They ruled the airwaves in the 70s becoming one of the best selling popular music acts of all time. The songs are infectious and bear repeating. The look is pure seventies with bell-bottoms, long curtains of hair and v-necks. This will be a fun show to dress for and a great show for all skill levels.
